Emily Kores grew up in Harwinton, Connecticut, and Miami, Florida. She moved back to Winsted, Connecticut for her senior year. She graduated from Oliver Wolcott Technical School and finished her cosmetology training at the Torrington Beauty Academy. Since then she has worked in a few salons in the area finding a home in a local salon in Torrington, Connecticut where she has been for 15 years. She is a devoted mother to two wonderful boys, Michael 10, and Rocco 3.
