Michael Muir

Michael is a lifelong resident of CT. He has spent the majority of his time living in the Northwestern corner of the state. He attended Oliver Wolcott Technical High school in Torrington. After holding several jobs in retail and customer service Michael turned to his interests working with his hands, and building. Following in this direction, he became a licensed electrician in 2009. Shortly after obtaining his electrical license Michael purchased his first home in West Hartland CT, where he still resides today.

Always looking to improve himself, and expand on his skills, Michael obtained his electrical contractors license with the state of CT in 2012. After working in the electrical industry for over 17 years, Michael decided to pursue his other interest, real estate. He passed his CT real estate sales exams in 2021. Shortly after, Michael purchased an investment property in the Southern Berkshires of Massachusetts.
When he is not busy helping out friends, family, and neighbors, Michael enjoys being out in nature. Whether it be a refreshing hike in the woods, a warm and calming day at the beach, or a hard day of tending to firewood in the fall. Even a brisk and cold day removing snow. Michael is in his element outdoors.

Another great passion of his is helping people. Michael has been involved in helping the homeless community in Torrington by volunteering his time and skills to assist Joseph’s House. He has also volunteered on several habitat for humanity projects throughout the state.

Michael is excited to be joining our team at Turning Point Realty! He brings with him many years of knowledge and problem solving skills from his time in the construction industry. Great patience from his time in retail and customer service. And, a true desire to help people! He is no stranger to hard work, and will be dedicated to helping you with your needs!
