Heather Mellon

Born and raised in Bristol, Connecticut, Heather Mellon has a long-developed interest and appreciation for the area. After graduating high school, Heather decided to try something new and move across the country for college. She completed her degree in Visual Communications at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, California in 2014 and ultimately decided to head back to the east coast to begin her career. Heather’s passion for interior design, art, and architecture lead her to pursue a creative career path. That resulted in experiences that included fashion styling and merchandising, artistically involved retail store displays, as well as interior decorating. As an Interior Design Specialist at her most recent job, Heather had the opportunity to assist clients in making their houses feel more like home.

Heather Mellon purchased her own home independently at the age of 23 in Bristol. She loves being close to family again in the city she grew up in. In her free time, Heather enjoys working on house projects with her boyfriend (with their two dogs always supervising!) She also enjoys spending time in Madison, Connecticut at her family’s beach cottage.
